 Nutriprep ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles user information when you use our services.

## 1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

### A. Personal Data

Nutriprep does **NOT** require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personally identifiable information (such as your full name, home address, email address, or phone number) to use the core features of the application.

### B. Local Storage Data (Recipes & Favorites)

Any custom recipes, meal plans, ingredients, photos, or favorite lists created within the app are stored **locally on your device** (via SQLite/Room Database). This data is never transmitted to our servers or sold to any third party.

### C. Third-Party APIs (Content Providers)

The app fetches recipe data and nutritional estimates through public APIs:

- **TheMealDb API**: To provide public recipe instructions and meal categories.

- **USDA FoodData Central API**: To provide nutritional information and macro estimates.

These API requests do not transmit your personal information.

## 2. Third-Party Advertising and Analytics

Nutriprep uses **Google AdMob** to display advertisements (Banner, Native, Interstitial, and App Open ads) to support ongoing development. 

Google AdMob and its advertising partners may automatically collect and process certain non-personally identifiable technical information in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy, including:

- **Google Advertising ID (AD_ID)**

- **Device Information** (Device model, OS version, screen size)

- **Approximate Location** (Derived from IP address for regional ad relevance)

## 3. Photo & Media Permissions

Nutriprep utilizes the standard **Android Photo Picker system** to allow you to attach photos to your custom recipes. 

- The app does **NOT** request broad storage access permissions (`READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` or `READ_MEDIA_IMAGES`).

- Only the specific image you voluntarily select in the system picker is accessed and saved locally for your recipe display.

## 4. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Nutriprep is intended for a general audience (ages 13 and older). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

## 5. User Data Control and Deletion

Because your custom recipes and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device:

- You have full control over your data at all times.

- You can delete any recipe or favorite directly inside the app.

- You can permanently remove all local data by clearing the app data in your device’s **Settings > Apps > Nutriprep > Storage > Clear Data** or by uninstalling the application.
